The World Dance Alliance (http://www.worlddancealliance.net/) is pleased to announce the initiation of a blind-reviewed publication (in English) specifically designed for the needs of emerging dance scholars, those scholars currently enrolled in a graduate program or within 5 years of having graduated from a graduate program in dance or a related field. The Journal of Emerging Dance Scholarship (JEDS) will be published online through the World Dance Alliance Website and available as an open resource demonstrating original dance research. Articles will be selected to assure dance scholarship from around the world is included in each publication.
